Hsu Studios – Berkeley Springs, West Virginia

Hsu Studios creates aerodynamic mobiles and colorful collages in jewelry made of anodized aluminum. Wallpieces and sculpture are also part of their repertoire in which they often mix aluminum with found objects, such as tin cans and wood. Hsu Studios is a husband and wife team, Carol and Jean-Pierre Hsu, artist / designers for over 30 years.

Winged Camel Metalworks – Adirondacks,
New York

Winged Camel Metalworks is a small metalworking studio located in the northern foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in New York State not far from the Canadian border. The studio has been owned and operated by Malcolm and Mary Ann Owen since 1976.  The artists work with copper, brass, gold and sterling silver, creating clocks and other small household objects.  The products of Winged Camel Metalworks are unique in their design and craftsmanship. Each piece is entirely handmade from start to finish by the artists. The variations in patina and figure placement are considered desirable and normal thus marking each piece as truly handcrafted.

The Tin Woodsman – Oregon

Tin Woodsman pewter was born in 1985, when Jim and Deborah’s closest friends decided to shut down their pewter studio.  Deborah leapt at the idea of learning pewtersmithing and turning it into a hobby of her own.  Within three years, it was obvious Deborah’s “hobby” was taking over the Chapman home.

Deborah’s first artistic explorations were in ceramics and costume design, whereas Jim’s were in woodworking and bookmaking.  By melding their knowledge and experiences and encouraging their staff to do the same, the company continues to evolve and grow.

Over twenty years later, Jim and Deborah feel blessed to work together in such a satisfying venture.  Enjoy the result of the integration of beauty and function, home and work, passion and craft that has become The Tin Woodsman Pewter Company.

Harmony Hollow – Ann Arbor, Michigan

Harmony Hollow is a family-owned business, founded in Arizona in 1969 by Jeff Cross, who passed away in 1977. Jeff's founding spirit lives on in Harmony Hollow's new home in Ann Arbor, Michigan, also the home of the University of Michigan.

Just as Harmony Hollow bells and chimes have a distinctive sound, they also have a unique look - virtually all of their bronze bells have seashells cast into their sides. The seashell is a symbol of a vision that Jeff Cross had one day while walking along the beach. Jeff picked up a seashell and held it to his ear, and of course heard the roar of the surf, which Jeff came to think of as the sound of Nature's pulse. When a bronze windbell is hung outside, where the wind gently rocks it, it creates a sound that helps you get back in touch with Mother Nature's pulse.
